We, the Student Unions, believe that our country has never truly enjoyed a genuine freedom in which all strata of our society – across different nationalities and social classes – are free, despite gaining independence from the colonial rule. Such a freedom could only be achieved after the fascist military that has been exploiting our country and its wealth and oppressing our people for decades is uprooted. We Student Unions hereby pledge our commitment and dedication to stand together with the people in the fight to topple this fascist military junta until the very end.
